frogProject 1.10.2 is the update to the installer app for configuring and commissioning frogblue Bluetooth Mesh projects. It introduces the installer view of the new System HealthCheck - a system-wide capability for verifying that an installation is complete, running optimally, and for troubleshooting quickly when something isn’t quite right.
This release ships with the updated frogWare 1.10.2 module firmware and is delivered alongside frogOS 1.7.8, frogAccess 1.0, and frogSIP App 1.3.
🛑 STOP — This release commits the installation to a full system upgrade
Running frogProject 1.10.2 to update frogs to frogWare 1.10.2 brings each module onto the next-generation frogblue Bluetooth Mesh platform. After this firmware update, frogControl can no longer control the installation — end users must switch to the new frogAccess 1.0 app.
This change is not reversible. Before updating any existing installation, plan the full migration:
- All IP devices (frogTerminal, frogStation, frogDisplay) must be updated to frogOS 1.7.8
- All frogs in the installation must be updated to frogWare 1.10.2 — partial mesh updates leave the installation in a broken state
- End users must install frogAccess 1.0 (replacing frogControl) and the latest frogSIP 1.3
- All users need a free frogCloud account for cloud remote control and mobile telephony — or a partner-provided alternative (direct SIP, custom server, MQTT, API, etc.)
On larger installations, updating the entire mesh is a substantial task and may require electrical or system knowledge. This is why frogProject is only available to and intended for use by certified frogblue installers, partners, and Competence Centers. Plan handover with the customer before starting the migration.
