frogSIP 1.3 is a major update to the smartphone app that turns your phone into a SIP video intercom for the frogTerminal — answering door calls, unlocking doors, viewing live video and recordings, and triggering frogblue actions directly from your phone.
This release introduces Direct Bluetooth backup mode for ultra-reliable door access even when the network is down, expanded tenant and access features, and a cleaner settings experience.
frogSIP 1.3 is delivered alongside frogOS 1.7.8, frogAccess 1.0, and frogWare / frogProject 1.10.2.
What’s New
Note: Some new features require the complete system to be updated.
frogSIP 1.3 continues to work with existing frogTerminal installations. However, the following new features only become fully available once the whole system is on the latest versions:
- Direct Bluetooth backup mode requires frogWare 1.10.2 on the frogs and frogOS 1.7.8 on IP devices
- Up to 20 access zones requires frogOS 1.7.8 on the frogTerminal
- User Bluetooth Password (tenant password) requires frogWare 1.10.2
To get the full benefits of this release, ask your frogblue partner about updating the complete system. Updating the Bluetooth Mesh modules must be performed by a certified frogblue installer, partner, or Competence Center.
